Tips for healthier eating! 01/21/2012
_ Do you need some tips on eating healthier? What can you do to make your diet healthier without depriving yourself? Here are some things I incorporated into my diet to get healthy and stay healthy.
As far as eating healthy foods, it's up to you to see what works for you. We all have favorite foods. I choose to eat a lot of chicken, fish, turkey burgers and veggies. I do eat a pork chop once a week or so because I love pork chops. Notice I said a pork chop though – that means one. As long as it's in moderation, it's all good. I have vegetables every day and a salad 3 – 7 times per week with a meal. My advice is if you are starting a diet or healthy eating plan, choose foods you enjoy. Use spices and herbs...spice it up! Find recipes that are low-fat, high-fiber, taste good and are healthy for you. They do exist. You CAN enjoy a healthy eating plan. I do. Make your snacks healthy.
